Preface

Years ago, I heard a line that says Life is full of lots of ups and downs. At that time, I was not at the right age to fully comprehend what it meant. Years later, I still don’t think I know its full meaning, but, through my own personal experiences and observation of the happenings around me, I believe that I do have a rough idea of what the ups and downs in life are. My love and passion in exploring the mystery of life has led me on a journey which brought me to a wonderful discovery of friends whom I met along the way. I learnt from them much about life as we share our feelings, thoughts, hopes, sadness, worries, fear, expectations and tens of other feelings capable felt by a human being.

Through my interactions with people around me and my observation of people from a distance, had prompted me to write a motivational book that sets to inspire, boost morale, heal and invite everyone towards self-improvement in accordance with the guidelines given through His Glorious Verses and His Messengers.

This book carries 18 stories with different themes that are tailored to our modern life’s difficulties, challenges and obstacles seemingly faced by many Muslims all over the world. A bonus story is included as a special treat for the readers.

Each story is uniquely written to tease and tempt the readers’ thinking paradigm with the ultimate goal to achieve success in both worlds and at the same time, keeping our identity as Muslim - intact.

If you need a morale boost, need to change to a more positive person, want to seek the practicality of Islam, desire to improve your life or simply want an easy read, this is the book for you.

This book has been vetted by knowledgeable individuals verifying the authenticity and validity of the usage of all Qur'anic verses and Hadiths quoted.

Enjoy the readings and may Allah bless us all with success in this world and the hereafter, in sha'a Allah.

Jazakum Allahu khayran and peace to all.
